Social Services

Our team of social workers helps guide and support patients and families through the entire health care process. At Children's Hospital we assist families with the personal, emotional, financial and family problems that may affect a child’s health. We can help parents understand treatment plans and goals as well as offer crisis intervention, information and referral to community support agencies and other services.  We are sensitive to cultural, social and religious beliefs and often partner with spiritual and chaplain services, interpreter services, child life, clinical psychology, rehabilitation and clinical nutrition to enhance the well-being of children.
