Me-N-Ed’s restaurants recently concluded another successful “Dough-Nation” fundraising campaign for Children’s Hospital, collecting an incredible $50,000 in donations in just a few weeks.
Proof that every penny counts, Me-N-Ed’s restaurants across the Valley asked pizza lovers to add a dollar to their order in exchange for a personalized paper wreath icon. These icons decorated the walls of the restaurants, showcasing the names of the donors who participated.
The overwhelming success is a testament to the generosity of Me-N-Ed’s patrons, as well as the ongoing support of the Hospital by John Ferdinandi, president & CEO of Milano Restaurants International (the parent company of Me-N-Ed’s). John is a longtime supporter of Children’s and a member of the Foundation Board and a Founding Cornerstone Member of the Children’s Corporate Council.
Mr. Ferdinandi’s relationship with Children's Hospital Central California started when he was a guest at the Harvest Ball, exposing him to what the Hospital is all about — providing high quality comprehensive health care services to children, regardless of their ability to pay.
“Me-N-Ed’s believes deeply in Children’s Hospital and the amazing things it accomplishes for the families of Central California,” said Mr. Ferdinandi. “We at Me-N-Ed’s put together ‘Dough-Nation’ in an effort to raise both awareness and funds for this great institution and others like it.”
