Patient safety is the top priority at Children’s Hospital Central California. In a continuing effort to ensure no child suffers a cardiopulmonary arrest, or code, we added another tool to identify when a hospitalized child’s health is severely weakening. Read more about Condition Help.

Perinatologists at the Maternal Fetal Center  at Children's Hospital became the first in the region to offer a new blood test for expectant moms. Given at 10 to 20 weeks’ gestation, the cell-free fetal DNA test identifies chromosomal abnormalities. Read more.

Inspired by his wife’s memory and impressed with the care at Children’s, Norman Jansen of Fresno gifted $250,000 to benefit the Hospital’s Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program. Read more.
