Dr. Wendy Tcheng joined Children’s in May 2008 from Harbor-University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, UCLA School of Medicine, where she was assistant professor. She is board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Tcheng belongs to several professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. She has published in peer-reviewed journals including “Pediatric Blood and Cancer” and “Haemophilia.” Dr. Tcheng has given numerous lectures on pediatric hematology and oncology topics including von Willebrand disease and anemia.

A graduate of UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Tcheng completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She did a fellowship in hematology-oncology at UCLA Medical Center.
