Board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Vonda Crouse has been with Children’s Hospital Central California for 21 years. Dr. Crouse has participated in Children’s Oncology Group (COG) since 1980. Since joining Children’s in 1987, she has served as responsible investigator and has been principle investigator in COG since 2000. An expert in treating childhood cancer, she has nearly 30 years of clinical research in pediatric oncology.
Dr. Crouse belongs to several professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Her work has been published in professional journals including “Pediatrics” and the “American Journal of Epidemiology.”
Prior to joining Children’s, Dr. Crouse was a pediatric oncologist at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colo., and assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Dr. Crouse completed her pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where she served as chief resident. She did a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
