Board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology, Dr. Sadri Akin joined Children’s medical staff in 2005. Before coming to Children’s he was a radiologist with Fresno Imaging Center Medical Group. His professional activities include a clinical assistant professor of radiology position at Los Angeles County-University of California Medical Center. He has served in an administrative capacity as vice president of medical staff and medical director of radiology and MRI at Chino Valley Medical Center in Chino, Calif.

Dr. Akin earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed a residency in pathology at the University of California, Irvine and a diagnostic radiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Akin completed a fellowship in body imaging at the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center.
