In addition to serving as Medical Director of Pulmonology at Children’s Hospital, Dr. Reddivalam Sudhakar is an assistant professor at University of California, San Francisco-Fresno. An active researcher, he participates in cystic fibrosis and asthma studies.

After graduating from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, Dr. Sudhakar completed an internship at the Government General Hospital in Guntur. He completed pediatric residencies at Guntur Medical College and Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J. Dr. Sudhakar completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Sudhakar is board certified in pulmonary diseases and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Central Valley Respiratory Society.
