An experienced pediatric neurosurgeon at Children’s, Dr. Meredith Woodward is board certified in pediatric neurological surgery by the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery and neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Along with her surgical experience, Dr. Woodward is a member of several professional societies including the Pediatric Section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics/Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine-Fresno Medical Education Program. Her professional activities also include numerous oral presentations on topics such as pediatric head injuries and brain tumors in children.

Dr. Woodward earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed an internship in surgery and a neurosurgery residency at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Woodward completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario (Canada).
