Board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Dr. Menouchehr Bazyani has skills in many aspects of pediatric emergency medicine including endotracheal intubation, umbilical artery and vein catherization, central lines placement, thoracocentesis, chest tube placement, lumbar puncture, circumcision, arterial puncture, tympanocentesis, and sinus proof puncture. Dr. Bazyani has an interest in headache research, particularly classification and pathophysiology.
Dr. Bazyani received his medical degree from Albert Szent Gyorgyi Medical University in Szeged, Hungary where he graduated in the top five of his class. He completed his pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. During Dr. Bazyani’s training at Henry Ford Hospital, he was Pediatric Chief Resident.
He is fluent in English, Farsi and Hungarian. His personal interests include golf, soccer, computers and travel.
