Board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Matthew Bayer returned to Children’s Hospital Central California from Children’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, where he was as an attending physician in the Emergency Department. During this time he also was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.

Graduating from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Bayer completed a pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital Oakland. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
