Dr. Mark Alson is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. An active member of several professional societies, Dr. Alson has served as president of the Central Valley Radiological Society. He currently serves as a radiology representative on the California Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee as well as a Councilor for the American College of Radiology, helping to establish policy for the organization. His professional activities also include publication in journals including the “Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology” and “Spine.”

A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Alson completed his internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Alson completed a radiology residency at Stanford University and a cross-sectional imaging fellowship at the Unversity of California, San Francisco.

His hobbies include camping, photography, water skiing and automobile restoration. Dr. Alson enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
