A board certified pediatric emergency physician, Dr. Kala Parker’s professional activities include membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Dr. Parker completed her internship and pediatric residency at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She is fellowship trained in pediatric emergency medicine by Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

While completing her pediatric residency, Dr. Parker served as Director of Mommy Call, a resident run program allowing parents 24-hour access to pediatricians for advice. She also gained additional experience as a moonlighter in the Pediatric Emergency Room at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
