A graduate from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Kathleen Murphy completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco. She did a fellowship in pediatric critical care at the University of Texas-Southwestern/Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

A board certified pediatric intensivist, Dr. Murphy joined Children’s Hospital Central California in May 2000. She is a member of several professional societies including the American Medical Association, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
