Dr. Kelly Kriwanek is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She did a medical mission trip to Lima, Peru with the International Heart Foundation. Her activities also include membership in several professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Kriwanek received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics as well as a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
While completing her fellowship she was honored with the 2005 Ludwig/Seidel Award for Best Scientific Presentation by a Pediatric Emergency Fellow in Training, presented by the Ambulatory Pediatric Association, for her research presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies Annual Meeting.
