Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Jolie Limon has been with the Hospital for more than eight years. Her interests and areas of expertise include resident leadership, medically complex children and clinical pathways. She has written several of the Hospital’s clinical pathways that are currently being used and recently wrote a soft tissue and skin infection pathway that will go live in the next few months.
An active member of Children’s medical staff, Dr. Limon was Clinical Director of the Hospital’s Clinical Pathways Program, a pediatrician in the Charlie Mitchell’s Children’s Clinic and Medical Director of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program. She also served on several Hospital committees and is currently Assistant Chair of the Pharmacy, Therapeutics & Utilization Committee.
Her academic appointments include Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics with UCSF-Fresno and her research has been published in the Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
A graduate of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, Dr. Limon completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Davis Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Pediatric Residency Leadership Award three consecutive years.
Following the completion of her pediatric medical training, Dr. Limon joined the medical staff at Children’s as a pediatric hospitalist. She belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
