Dr. Indira Chandrasekar is a neonatologist at Children’s and has expertise in perinatal medicine. Dr. Chandrasekar is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Royal College of Pediatricians and Child Health in the United Kingdom. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Physiology Heart Circulation Physiology and The Archives of Diseases and Childhood.

Dr. Chandrasekar earned her medical degree from Chengalpattu Medical College, University of Madras in India. She completed pediatric residencies at the University of Illinois in Chicago and at the University of California, San Francisco – Fresno. Dr. Chandrasekar completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
