Fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesia, Dr. Hnin Htun joined Children’s Hospital Central California in August 2013 as a pediatric anesthesiologist.
Dr. Htun received her medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. She did her preliminary internship in internal medicine at University of California, San Francisco – Fresno. She did her residency in anesthesiology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, N.Y. She completed her fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at St. Louis Children’s Hospital – Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Htun has presented on numerous topics in her field across the country. She is a member of several professional organizations, including Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Htun is fluent in Burmese. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
