Board certified in pediatric neurosurgery by the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery and neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, , Dr. Gary Magram has more than 20 years of surgical experience. He is the Medical Director of Neurosurgery at Children's. His major area of research interest is in the treatment of hydrocephalus.

Gary Magram, MDAside from his years of surgical experience, Dr. Magram’s career includes Associate Professor positions at Seton Hall, Temple and George Washington Universities, as well as numerous publications and research. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Graduating from the University of Maryland, Dr. Gary Magram completed his internship and residency in surgery and neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
