An expert in pediatric anesthesiology, Dr. Caroline LaBrie is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. LaBrie joined Children’s from Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Hawaii. Her professional activities include membership in several professional societies including the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Caroline S. LaBrie, DOA graduate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadephia, Pennsylvania, Dr. LaBrie was actively involved in the Student Osteopathic Medical Association, where she served in leadership positions such as National Board Member. She completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Connecticut in Hartford, Connecticut and her general surgery residency at Baptist Medical Centers in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed a clinical pain research fellowship at Tufts University-New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. LaBrie then went on to complete an anesthesiology residency at Tufts University-New England Medical Center in Boston. She is fellowship trained in anesthesiology by The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She has an athletic background; while pursuing her medical degree Dr. LaBrie played intercollegiate sports during her undergraduate studies including softball and field hockey, and participated in sailing at Washington College.
