Board certified in pediatrics, child neurology and clinical neurophysiology, Dr. Andrew Mower joined Children’s Hospital Central California in October 2012 as a pediatric neurologist. His area of special interest is epilepsy.
Dr. Mower comes to us from San Diego, where he worked as a pediatric neurologist at Children’s Specialists of San Diego, and as an assistant clinical professor of neurosciences at the University of San Diego.
Dr. Mower is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Epilepsy Society; American Academy of Neurology; and Child Neurology Society. He also serves on the Professional Advisory Board for the Epilepsy Foundation.
Dr. Mower earned his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center, and a residency in child neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY. He completed a fellowship in epilepsy at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Mower speaks conversational Spanish and French.
