Children's 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit is the only CARF accredited independent pediatric facility in California.

Magnet Nursing

Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)
Children's PICU is a 34-bed unit leading the country in outcomes while caring for some of the sickest kids anywhere.

Perinatology Services
Children's Hospital and Saint Agnes Medical Center expanded their partnership to bring an exceptional team of perinatologists to our region. Children's-based perinatologists provide consultations and coordinate multidisciplinary care as needed for high-risk patients and unborn babies.

Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)
Children's NICU offers Regional Neonatal Intensive Care - the highest level of care available for neonates and infants between Los Angeles and the Bay Area - in its 88-bed NICU.

Prenatal Diagnostic Center
A full range of services including amniocentesis, genetic testing & Counseling, 3-D & 4-D sonograms and fetal echocardiograms.

Patient Throughput
Patient throughput ensures that the right patients are being seen at the right place and time. Children's has developed systems that admit Emergency patients faster as well as get kids home sooner when they are well. Throughput is active throughout the Hospital, improving every family's experience and often reducing their costs.

Minimal Blood Loss Surgery
